Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Andrea McKenna as Assistant Deputy Minister (Policy, Planning and Performance Monitoring), in the Department of Health and Community Services, on an acting basis, effective August 15, 2019, with salary at step 14 of the 1628 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of her date of appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to August 15, 2019, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which she has been appointed herein.
