Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Ron Bowles as Assistant Deputy Minister within the Office of Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs (Executive Council), effective May 6, 2014, at his current salary, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded by Mr. Bowles to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of his appointment, the outcome of which is to place him, retroactive to May 6, 2014, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary to which he has been appointed herein.
