Under the authority of section 60 of the Judicature Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. David Jones, Q.C. as Acting Registrar of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective from a current date, with salary at step 33 of the 1610 Point Scale in accordance with the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016 for the duration of this assignment, and with benefits to include the payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland.  This is an Assistant Deputy Minister – equivalent position.
