Under the authority of section 3 of the Sheriff’s Act, 1991, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. John P. McDonald as Acting High Sheriff of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective from a current date, with salary to be determined at an appropriate step on Level V of the Solicitors’ Pay Plan for the duration of this assignment, and with benefits to include the payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland.
