Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Heather Jacobs as Acting Assistant Deputy Minister – Legal Policy, Courts and Related Services in the Department of Justice, effective from a current date, with salary at step 33 of the 1610 Point Scale in accordance with the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016 for the duration of this assignment, and with benefits to include payment of practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland.
