Under the authority of Subsection 4(2) and Paragraph 7(2)(a) of the Lands Act, the Lieutenant Governor is pleased to authorize the Minister of Environment and Conservation to issue a commercial grant to Bloom Lake Railway Company Limited for Crown land comprising an area not to exceed 235 hectares of Crown land between Canning River and running westward to the Newfoundland and Labrador/Quebec provincial border and to include sections of the fifteen metre shoreline reservation of Virot River, Walsh River, Ironstone River, Canning River, and eleven small stream crossings, located in the Electoral District of Labrador West, for the purpose of the construction and operation of a railway branch line subject to the terms and conditions normally applicable for the issuance of such Grants.
