Under the authority of section 6 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Honourable Trevor Taylor as the Acting Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development and Acting Minister Responsible for the Rural Secretariat, in addition to his responsibilities as Minister of Transportation and Works, effective May 18, 2006, while Honourable Kathy Dunderdale is on personal leave.
