Under the authority of section 6 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint the Honourable Thomas Marshall as the Acting Minister of Transportation and Works and Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, in addition to his current responsibilities as the Minister of Finance, President of Treasury Board, Minister Responsible for the Public Service Secretariat and Minister Responsible for the Office of the Chief Information Officer, effective October 26, 2009.
