Under the authority of sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Municipal Affairs and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to sign the second Amendment to the Canada - Newfoundland and Labrador Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund Agreement in order to extend the lifecycle date of the Agreement from March 31, 2012 to March 31, 2014.
