Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize Denis Hogan, Assistant Deputy Minister of  Innovation, Research and Advanced Technologies in the Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, to take a leave of absence from his position effective June 1, 2009 in order to undertake an educational initiative conditional upon a five year return in service and in accordance with a contract to be filed with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
