Under the authority of section 3 of the Sheriff’s Act, 1991, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Ernest Boone as Acting High Sheriff of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective November 2, 2009 until the return of the permanent incumbent, with salary at Level V, Step 9 of the Solicitor’s Pay Plan and with benefits to include payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland.
