Under the authority of section 6 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint the Honourable Dianne Whalen as the Acting Minister of Transportation and Works and Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, in addition to her current responsibilities as the Minister of Municipal Affairs, Minister Responsible for Emergency Preparedness and Registrar General, effective September 28, 2009.
