Under the authority of subsection 14.1(1) of the Energy Corporations Act and subsection 10.1 of the Transparency and Accountability Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to approve the creation of a new subsidiary by Nalcor Energy referred to as Nalcor Energy-Generation to manage and operate the former Abitibi-Consolidated power generation assets and to sell the power thus produced, and that the subsidiary so created is designated to be a Crown agent pursuant to subsection 14.1(5) of the Energy Corporation Act.
