Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Natural Resources to pre-commit funds of up to $600,000 against its budgetary appropriations as follows:  $250,000 in 2009/10; $150,000 in 2010/11; $100,000 in 2011/12; and $100,000 in 2012/13, for the services of an Engineer as required by the Voisey’s Bay Development Agreement, relating to the construction of a nickel hydromet plant at Long Harbour.
