Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Rebecca Roome as Deputy Minister of the Department of Education, effective December 18, 2006, at her current salary and point scale on the Executive Compensation Plan on a personal basis.
