Under the authority of section 30(1) of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (Canada) and section 16 of the Young Persons Offences Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby rescinds the designation of RCMP Detachment Lockups in Grand Bank, Barachois Brook and Flower’s Cove as places of temporary detention and secure custody for young offenders.
