Under authority of section 6 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint to the Honourable Tom Rideout as the Acting Minister of Justice and Attorney General, in addition to his responsibilities as Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture and Minister Responsible for Aboriginal Affairs, effective December 29, 2006.
