Under the authority of section 38(9) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Honourable the Minister of Finance, the Deputy Minister of Finance, and an Assistant Deputy Minister of Finance to enter into Bond Forward contracts for the purpose of hedging the Province's interest rate exposure related to future debenture issues.
