Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Baxter Rose as Assistant Deputy Minister - Municipal Support and Policy in the Department of Municipal Affairs, effective July 31, 2006, with a position description to be forwarded to the Public Service Secretariat and salary to be determined in accordance with the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, with Mr. Rose not to receive less than his current salary, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective the date of this appointment
