Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Alex Smith as Assistant Deputy Minister, Mines in the Department of Natural Resources, on an acting basis, effective October 1, 2019, with salary set at Step 20 on the 1358 Point Scale, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
