Under the authority of subsection 20(1) of the Public Procurement Regulations, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to approve an alternative procurement approach to allow municipalities to continue with group procurement of pension and insurance benefits plans as administered by Newfoundland and Labrador Municipal Employee Benefits Inc., operating as TRIO.
