Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development to pre-commit up to $5 million annually against its 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-2010 budgetary appropriations under Advanced Technologies and Industrial Research, to support the implementation of the Innovation Strategy.
