Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act and upon the written recommendation of the Treasury Board, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funds totaling $2,002,755 against its 2015-16 budgetary appropriations to facilitate the award of a contract, covering the period June 15, 2014, to March 31, 2016, to Norcon Marine Services Ltd. for the provision of ferry services to Rencontre East – Bay L’Argent – Pool’s Cove.
