Under the authority of sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Environment and Conservation, the Minister Responsible for Aboriginal Affairs and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to enter into the Sheshatshiu Land Transfer Agreement with the Government of Canada substantially in the form of the copy which is on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council, which establishes the terms of the transfer and the quit claim for the purpose of creating a reserve for the Sheshatshiu Innu under the Indian Act (Canada).
