Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act and upon the written recommendation of the Treasury Board, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funds totaling $11,000,000 against its budgetary appropriations in 2015/16 to facilitate the award of a contract to Pavex Ltd. for paving of 80 kilometres of Phase 3 of the Trans Labrador Highway from Route 500 towards the Cartwright Junction.
