Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funding totalling $1,536,300, $1,536,300, $1,536,300, $1,536,300 and $362,375 against its 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11, and 2011-12 budget appropriations respectively, to facilitate an award of contract for summer and winter maintenance of the Trans Labrador Highway between the Quebec/Labrador border in Labrador West and Churchill Falls.
