Under the authority of section 54 of the Legal Aid Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Justice and Attorney General and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to enter into an agreement for the provision of federal funding to the province for the legal aid program, substantially along the lines of the agreement attached to the Minister’s Submission.
