Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Education to pre?commit funding in the amount of $5,000,000 against its 2007?2008 budgetary appropriations to facilitate the early commencement and completion of major maintenance/building envelope projects.
