Under the authority of section 42.4 of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Philip J. Wall as the part-time Acting Information and Privacy Commissioner, effective December 14, 2006 until such time as the Office is filled by the Lieutenant Governor in Council following a Resolution of the House of Assembly, and in accordance with the contract between Mr. Wall and the Speaker of the House of Assembly, a copy of which is on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
