Under the authority of section 6 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Honourable John Ottenheimer as the Acting Minister of Municipal Affairs with Responsibility for Emergency Preparedness and Registrar General, in addition to his responsibilities as Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs, effective September 15, 2006.
