Under the authority of section 28(2) of the Financial Administration Act, and on the report of the Minister of Finance that there is insufficient legislative provision and that no other countervailing savings are available, and on the report of the Acting Minister of Municipal Affairs with Responsibility for Emergency Preparedness that the necessity is urgent, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to approve, on the recommendation in writing of Treasury Board, the preparation of a Special Warrant for the signature of His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, in the amount of $5,809,000 within the Vote of the Department of Municipal Affairs, to provide for Disaster Assistance expenditures, allocated as follows:

Subdivision 4.1.04.10 Disaster Assistance –

            Grants and Subsidies                                             $5,809,000;

2) Approval was given for the following transfer of funds within the Vote of the Department of Municipal Affairs:
