Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Gerald Galway as Assistant Deputy Minister – Primary, Elementary and Secondary Education in the Department of Education, effective February 23, 2004, with a position description to be forwarded to Treasury Board and salary to be determined in accordance with the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, with Mr. Galway not to receive less than his current salary.
