Further to the direction provided by MC2004-0427, and pursuant to section 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister Responsible for Aboriginal Affairs and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to sign the “Tripartite Framework for Self-Government Negotiations” between the Miawpukek First Nation, Her Majesty in Right of Canada and Her Majesty in Right of Newfoundland and Labrador, substantially in the form of the copy on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
