Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funds of $674,885, $674,885 and $138,675 against its 2006-07, 2007-08 and 2008-09 budgetary appropriations respectively to enable the Department to award a three year contract for the Rencontre East – Pools Cove/Bay L’Argent Ferry Service.
