Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, and upon the written recommendation of the Treasury Board, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Health and Community Services to pre-commit funds against its budgetary appropriations in the amount of $4,800,000 in 2015-16 to enable the Department of Transportation and Works to facilitate the award of a contract to Corner Brook Care Team for work associated with the collaborative design phase for the construction of the replacement of Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook.
