Under the authority of section 53(1) of the Lands Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Environment and Conservation to transfer administration and control of land comprising some 260 hectares near Happy Valley-Goose Bay, as depicted in Annex 1 of the Minister’s submission on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council, for a rifle range safety template area, to her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada subject to the normal terms and conditions of such transfers.
