Under the authority of section 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Environment and Conservation and the Premier as Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to enter into the Memorandum of Agreement with the Government of Canada entitled, “Memorandum of Agreement for a National Park Reserve of Canada and a National Park of Canada in the Torngat Mountains,” substantially along the lines of the draft document provided in Annex A of the Minister’s submission on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council, with amendments to the Memorandum of Agreement to reference the “Premier as Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs” in the appropriate sections.
