Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby authorizes the Department of Education to pre-commit funding in the amount of $4,000,000 against its 2005-2006 appropriations to facilitate the early commencement and completion of high priority major maintenance projects at schools.
