Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of paragraph 22(2)(d) of the Memorial University Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint/re-appoint the following individuals to the Board of Regents of Memorial University of Newfoundland, with effect from a current date:

1) Andrew Woodland, as Alumni Representative, for the balance of the remaining term until the next Alumni election;
2) Ian Duncan Chandi Anunda, as Grenfell Campus Students’ Union (GCSU) Representative, for the balance of the remaining term expiring October 14, 2020;
3) Michael Howse, as Marine Institute Students’ Union (MISU) Representative, for the balance of the remaining term expiring October 14, 2020; and
4) Amaan Merchant, as Memorial University Students’ Union (MUNSU) Representative, for the balance of the remaining term expiring December 17, 2019, and then re-appointed for a further two-year term expiring December 17, 2021.
