Under the authority of subsection 4(5) or 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, as determined by the Minister of Transportation and Works following consultation with the Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment and the Labrador Inuit Development Association, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the extension of the lease of 216 square feet of space occupied by the Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment in the Labrador Inuit Development Association Building, located at 2 Service Road replacing the original Labrador Inuit Development Association Building destroyed by fire in March, 2005, Nain, NL on either a month to month basis or a fixed term up to June 30, 2006 under the same terms and conditions, either at the existing rental rate of $28.00 a square foot pursuant to subsection 4(5) of the Public Tender Act or at an increased rental rate no greater than 15% of the existing rental rate pursuant to subsection 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, with any rate increase being sourced within existing departmental budgetary allocations.
