Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act and upon the written recommendation of the Treasury Board, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funding up to the amount of $2,400,000 against its 2015-16 budgetary appropriations to facilitate the award of a contract to Farrell’s Excavating Ltd. for road upgrades on Route 91, Southeast Placentia Road.
