Under the authority of subsection 4(5) or 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, as determined by the Minister of Transportation and Works following consultation with the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture and the Battle Harbour Regional Development Association, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the extension of the lease of 143 square feet of space occupied by the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture in the Battle Harbour Regional Development Association’s Building, Mary’s Harbour, NL on either a month to month basis or a fixed term up to June 30, 2006 under the same terms and conditions, either at the existing rental rate of $29.37 a square foot pursuant to subsection 4(5) of the Public Tender Act or at an increased rental rate no greater than 15% of the existing rental rate pursuant to subsection 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, with any rate increase being sourced within existing departmental budgetary allocations.
