Under the authority of section 2 of the National Parks Lands Act and sections 3(i) and 4 of the Expropriation Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Transportation and Works to expropriate all the lands required by the Federal Government for the proposed Torngat Mountains National Park Reserve, which are generally described as all that parcel of land situate, lying and being in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador as shown on a Descriptive Map Plan, prepared by Natural Resources Canada and dated November 15, 2004 and which is recorded in the Crown Lands Registry Office at St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador under number SP 367, a copy of which is attached as Annex “B” of the Minister’s submission and a copy of which is on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
