Under the authority of subsection 4(5) or 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, as determined by the Minister of Transportation and Works following consultation with the Department of Health and Community Services, Breast Screening Clinic, and Ropewalk Developments Inc., the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the leasing of 5,152 square feet of office space occupied by the Department of Health and Community Services, Breast Screening Clinic, in the Ropewalk Plaza, St. John’s, NL, on either a month to month or a fixed term basis up to August 31, 2006, under the existing terms and conditions, either at the existing rental rate of $15.50 per square foot pursuant to subsection 4(5) of the Public Tender Act or at an increased rental rate no greater than 15% of the existing rental rate pursuant to subsection 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, with any rate increase being sourced within existing departmental budgetary allocations.
