Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Department of Health and Community Services is authorized to pre-commit funds against its budgetary appropriations up to $3,864,000 per annum in fiscal years 2020-21 through 2023-24, and up to $3,382,000 in fiscal year 2024-25, to facilitate a contract with Bell Canada for the administration of the Newfoundland and Labrador Prescription Drug Program Real Time Claim Adjudication System.
