Orders in Council Database

The Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the following:

1) under the authority of subsection 14.1(1) of the Energy Corporation Act, Nalcor Energy is authorized to sell the shares of Nalcor Energy-Bull Arm Fabrication Inc. for $1.00, effective January 1, 2020;

2) under the authority of subsection 21(3) of the Oil and Gas Corporation Act, the Oil and Gas Corporation is authorized to purchase the shares of Nalcor Energy-Bull Arm Fabrication Inc. for $1.00 and maintain the corporation as a subsidiary of the Oil and Gas Corporation, effective January 1, 2020; and

3) under the authority of subsection 7(2) of the Oil and Gas Corporation Act, the Oil and Gas Corporation and its subsidiaries are authorized to invest and engage in activities related to supply chain development opportunities and advancement of oil and gas supply and service business opportunities.
