Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of the Prerogative of the Crown and upon the passage of the Local Authority Guarantee Act, 2005, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to amend the Orders in Council issued after June 8, 2004 pursuant to the Cabinet direction in MC2004-0362 and MC2002-0256R, to delete the reference in those Orders in Council to The Local Authority Guarantee Act, 1957 and to substitute in its place a reference to the Local Authority Guarantee Act, 2005 and to delete from Item 1 the words “pending legislative sanction.”
