Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Education to pre-commit $300,000 in fiscal year 2006-07 for the purpose of negotiating one-time fuel price escalator assistance for school bus operators.
