Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Education to pre-commit funds of $3.0 million for 2005-06 and $2.5 million for 2006-07 for the purchase of learning resources to enable cost efficiencies to be achieved in negotiating preferred pricing with textbook publishers.
