Under the authority of section 17 of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby authorizes the Minister of Finance to accept the settlement offer of $60,000 and write off the remaining $378,696 of the combined debt of Mr. Leslie McCarthy and Mr. William Deluney relating to a Loan Guarantee, and upon receipt of payment the Minister of Finance is authorized to provide any releases required by the Owners.
